Its heyday of popularity was in the roaring 20s and continues into the 1930s.It was an art movement that bridged the Art Nouveau movement and Modern Expressionism, as well as influencing Pop Art of the 1960s.It reinvents itself as a relevant movement that gets much of its inspiration from the social phenomenon of industrialization.Its clarity of design and innovation makes it one of my favorite art periods.
